Poem: Numbness

   Numbness is a gift to treasure. 

   Free from pain

   Away from fear. 

   A gateway to heaven

   Escape route from hell

   For in numbness I embrace oblivion, 

   the promise of nothingness.

Poem: I Fear...

   I fear fire because it reminds me of hell

   I fear blood for it takes the colors out of me

   I fear the future for it is not within my reach

   I fear nightmares because they can eat me in my sleep

   I fear children for in their beauty they are deadly

   But my biggest fear of all is to be stuck in a life that I 

   cannot walk away from at any possible moment.
